Living mindfully is the practice of slowing down and paying attention - so that we don’t miss the precious moments in our lives and can learn to deal more effectively with times that may be stressful.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week programme created in the USA by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn. Studies have shown that committed participation in an MBSR course can often lead to lasting positive effects on health and well-being. This 8-week course will introduce participants to different forms of mindfulness practice, including sitting meditation, body awareness and gentle mindful movement.

To benefit and bring mindfulness into your life, daily home practice (40minutes) is an important aspect of the course.

WHENSunday 7th Jan - Sunday 4th March 2.00pm - 4.00pm. There will also be a full day of mindfulness practice on Sunday 18th February 10.00am - 4.00pm.

ENROLMENTPlaces are limited to 8 people to ensure individual attention throughout the course. An orientation session is required as the first step towards enrolment. This individual phone call will be arranged between the participant and the facilitator when a deposit of £40 is paid. (Total cost £220).
