What a delight to announce the next Reiki@Maitri School! Our last (and first) run has exceed any expectations I could have had. I was so proud and honoured to see a community of gifted healers emerge where everyone had each other's backs. What a blessing it has been to see these souls blossom!
This 8 week period is an intensive course to provide you with the training, knowledge, and personal development necessary to not only give Reiki treatments to others but also to hold sacred space throughout. 

Students may take part in both the level 1 and 2 training, or can join either level individually. All courses include training manuals, guided reflictive journals, as well as certification upon completion.
Level 2 includes one healing session with Patricia and one free entry to the Reiki@Maitri Healing Evening.

***What you can expect from Level 1: Becoming a Reiki Healer***
Level one is a basic course on energy healing. These modules focus on building a strong foundation so you feel confident in practising Reiki for yourself, and incoporating this into an even more loving way of life. This course is suited for anyone curious about energy healing. But it is also recommended for people going through challenging times with limited budget who want to develop a deeper practice of self-care and nurishment. 

Besides learning how to use Reiki for yourself and being attuned to the energy for the first time, you will learnt about :
- The origins of Western and Eastern Reiki
- An understanding of the attunements and following integration
- Introduction to the Chakra and Meridian Systems
- The connection between energy and physical/emotional/spiritual well-being
- Self-care practices and technqiues to deal with strong emotions
- The Usui Power Symbol Cho Ku Rei

At the end of your first 21 day integration period, you will receive your Level 1 certificate and will have qualified as Level 1 Usui Reiki Healer. 

***What you can expect from Level 2: Becoming a Reiki Practitioner***
Level two is builds on your foundation as a Reiki Healer. These modules focus on giving you the knowledge and tools to not only deliver powerful Reiki treatments to clients or pets, but also provide you will all the information on practical issues such as insurance and legal aspects. Additionally, this course emphasises great practitioner skills like listening from the heart, holding safe space, and knowing your boundaries when faced with slightly more challenging situations. 

Besides learning how to give Reiki to others, you will learnt about :
- An advanced unerstanding of the chakra system
- Taking good care of yourself (including advanced shielding and grounding)
- Connecting deeper with yourself and your healing guides as well as understanding the concept pf Byosen
- Balancing mind and emotions (Usui Reiki Symbol Se He Ki)
- Sending Distant Healing (Usui Reiki Symbol Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen)
- How to be confident and still comforting to the clients you may encounter.

At the end of your 21 day detox/ integration period, you will be certified as Usui Reiki Practitioner and may start working with clients as soon as you are insured. You will be mentored throughout the 8 weeks and can get in touch for support at any time after. Level 2 students receive a 1 to 1 session with Patricia Lubeck and will be invited to join one Reiki@Maitri Healing evening for free.
