Running from 3rd September 2019
Are you a cyclist, runner or other sports person? Doing some yoga already and want to add another class and some more precision and awareness to your practice? Or just fairly fit and active but you'd like a form of exercise to help you discover suppleness as well as strength, and use your breath to better effect?
Andrew continues with this Tuesday evening slot as a continuing beginners class. It is aimed at people who are at least a little active and who are looking for better understanding of the body and breath. You may be a newcomer to yoga or someone who has already tried and would like a firmer foundation to your practice.
As a cyclist himself and with a naturally stiff body, Andrew understands the need to adapt poses and use props to allow those with less flexibility to join in. At the same time as a teacher for over 13 years, Andrew knows how to assist the more flexibility people to find stability.
Andrew has practised yoga for over 20 years and teaches with the Iyengar method, especially known for alignment and depth of understanding of the physical poses, as well as the benefits for breath and mind.
Book online here (choose "Iyengar Tuesdays 6pm" pass from drop-down list), or contact Andrew directly if you have any questions drubenyoga@gmail.com. He is also on Facebook.
