Discover the ancient Chinese practice of qi gong (pronounced "Chee Gong"). Find out how to give your body, breath and mind a full workout, at your own pace and level. This class is suitable for all.

Qi gong is the centuries old practice of body, breath, and mind. It's used for fitness and mind focus, flexibility, recovery from injury or pain, relaxation and to energise. In this class we will examine body posture and movement, how to use the breath, and the creation of mind focus and clarity, finishing with techniques for healing self massage.

Qi gong can be done anywhere, with no equipment, or special clothing, and has been proven to have a wide range of health benefits. So why not come along and find out what it's all about!

The course is taught by Fiona Jennings who has 25 years experience in Tai Chi and Qi Gong. She has studied qi gong in the UK, Ireland, & China, considering her main teachers as Peter Gilligan & Anthony Monteith. Fiona is also a trained traditional & classical acupuncturist who runs a successful clinic in South Belfast.
