Mitochondria are responsible for energy production.  To function properly, Mitochondria need oxygen and healthy cellular respiration. Without adequate respiration, the mitochondria are unable to communicate with other cells, cannot take in nutrients, expel toxins or produce energy. Over a period of time, an individual with poor cellular respiration may develop a host of degenerative diseases such as Chronic Fatigue, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Autism and more.  Oxygen therapy is a rapidly developing therapeutic area, and one that has demonstrated an ability to re-establish mitochondrial function. In this lecture, Dr Robert Lyons will explain the process of cellular respiration and how different oxygen therapies work to re-establish healthy function to offset and reverse mitochondrial dysfunction

Dr Robert Lyons  is Head Physician of Kaqun Hungary, a treatment facility that specialises in the use of oxygen for different disease states. He published his work in a book called Staying Alive, and has worked with the National Institute of Oncology to research the relationship between oxygen and disease. His oxygen treatments are now a Government approved treatment for stage Stage IV melanoma cancer patients. In 2010, he was presented with an award for helping mankind by President Barack Obama.
