Dr David Hefferon graduated from QUB in 1988 and after initial service in NHS in NI has worked in a variety of private dental clinics in Germany and Harley Street in London, before moving to work in Sydney, Australia.  David has now returned to Belfast.
 
David has developed a special interest in Holistic Dentistry, Orthodontics, TMJ problems, Cosmetic Dentistry, Sports dentistry, Physiological Regulating Medicine, Detoxification Protocols and the connection between Oral Health and Systemic Disease
 
David is committed to continual education and has undertaken extensive CPD in Ireland, UK, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, USA, Sweden and Australia to ensure that he always offers the highest possible standards of care to all his patients.

In order to offer a more individualised approach to his patients David also obtained a diploma with Honours in Homotoxicology / Biological Regulatory Medicine and became a Fellow of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
 
David has worked with Professional Athletes, rugby and football players to improve performance by optimising their occlusion and helping them recover from injury in a quicker time frame.
