Compassionate Activism!

Join us for an experiential workshop at Maitri!

Maggie and Patricia will be bringing together Brigid's Imbolc wisdom, somatic inquiry, creativity, sound and voice, as well as gentle yoga. We'll be sitting with the questions of how we can transmute the destruction in our lives into inspired action... and how we can make space to honour our grief while welcoming joy along side it.

This workshop will aim to guide us back to loving kindness and compassion for ourselves and each so that we can navigate the eventful times with more agency and solidarity. So while we won't shy away from the destruction and grief of our times, our focus will be on creating beauty, rest, envisioning, and connections.

All events on this 10th birthday open day are donation based, with a minimum donation of £1 to keep it accessible. Of course you can donate more if you wish! A similar workshop might cost £15-20 as a suggested amount. All donations are gratefully accepted.

Maggie’s teaching is influenced by trauma-informed yoga, mindful self compassion teachings, the cyclical wisdom of the Celtic wheel, nature, and rest practices. She is passionate about making yoga accessible, community based, and useful for navigating the ups & downs of everyday life.

Patricia is a Maitri regular with yoga, reiki and doula offerings, amongst others. You can read more about her at the link below.
