Course Dates: - Monday evenings from 19:00-21:00 UK Time Monday 6th September Monday 13th September Monday 20th September Monday 27th September Monday 4th October Monday 11th October Monday 18th October Monday 25th October Register for Zoom details Register here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAuduGppzkrHd2khDlKW_aqAbhTJ_iFRLRw After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. 8 Week Agenda - Week 1 - An introduction to the cards, structure of the deck, symbolism, numerology, suits & elements plus how to store and care for your cards. Basic principles such as shuffling, dealing and how to work with the cards from a safe and sacred space. We will also take an initial look at the Major Arcana. Week 2 - The Fool’s Journey - A deeper look at the Major Arcana and how we can relate this to our own lives. Stories and Archetypes. We will only be working with the 22 cards of the major arcana this week. Week 3 - Building on the first 2 weeks we will add the Suit of Swords, cards 1-10 into our working deck so we are now working with 32 cards. We will learn the story of the swords and understand the energy of this suit. Week 4 - This week we will add in the first ten cards of the Suit of Cups and understand the nuances of this suit’s energy and vibrations. We will now have 42 cards in our working deck. Week 5 - Now we add in ten more cards, the first ten from the suit of Wands and increase our working deck to 52 cards. Week 6 - We add in the first ten cards from the suit of Pentacles this week, building our working deck up to 62 cards. By now you will have a full understanding of the Major Arcana plus 40 of the Minor Arcana cards. Week 7 - We now turn our attention to the Court Cards and discover the Royal Kingdoms of the Tarot. People are always more difficult to interpret so we leave the Court Cards until week 7 so we are very familiar with the energy nuances of the 4 suits and Major Arcana before we delve into this area. You are now working with the full 78 card deck. Week 8 - For our final week, we look at basic layouts and the importance of good questions in the Tarot. This will help you to increase your confidence and help you to do your first reading using all 78 cards for one of the other students in the group. Class Structure The Zoom room will be open from 18:55 and we will aim to get started promptly at 19:00. I will discuss the topic with you using visual aids such as slides to help you understand the topic for the evening’s class. There will be lots of time for discussion, questions and answers and practice. I will be live on the call with you and will be sharing my screen as well as using an overhead camera to show my cards as I talk about them with you. There will be opportunities for you to review your cards and make notes throughout the class. Please also join the Facebook Tarot Tribe group for further support and discussion. Terms By joining the course you agree to make the weekly payments (or up front payment). If you choose to miss classes or drop out, no refunds will be given. All classes will be recorded for you and can be viewed in your own time should you be unable to attend, however we recommend that you do your best to attend live. Requirements

What you will need for the course An internet connection and the Zoom app to join the meeting. A set of headphones so you can hear clearly and this also helps minimise background noise or echo. A set of Tarot Cards - I will be using the Radiant Rider Waite deck so this is easiest for you to learn from but you can use any traditional style Tarot deck if you prefer. A notebook and pen to make your own notes to accompany the course notes which I will email to you each week.
