Zoe is a trauma-informed, accessible yoga instructor working at various community hubs, day centres and schools across greater Belfast.
She is passionate about making yoga accessible to all, from young children to older adults, on the mat or in a chair. Her background is in Fine Art (MA Honors) and she often incorporates sensory based crafts / art activities to explore philosophy, breathwork or mindfulness themes in a yoga class.
Zoe has a relaxed and welcoming approach to class – and a range of breathwork, movement, strengthening exercises, games, partner poses and other mindfulness practices are offered to explore tools to feel greater ease in the mind and body, manage stress, live purposefully and connect to ourselves and others.
Zoe lives on Oakland Farm in the Castlereagh Hills with her family. With three primary school aged children, she understands some of joys and the challenges of parenting and caregiving. Oakland Farm is a working, small-scale farm, with a commitment to sustainable practices and the planting of native plant and tree species for wildlife.
