Kundalini yoga workshop with Kate McAlpin

Tap into your inner power and find new and fun ways to boost energy and relieve stress with a transformational mix of breath work, posture and focused intention.

Classes mainly focus on slow, meditative, mindful moment, gently opening up the body and soothing the mind and bringing you into a state of present moment awareness. You will leave feeling more ease and flow, hopefully carrying it with you off the mat.

 

There are also some long holds to build strength and stamina but with the help of some modifications and fun musical choices you will feel encouraged and determined, learning to hold and contain yourself as you move on into your day.

 

Classes always finish with a 15 minute guided meditation to ensure you float off into your day feeling calm, relaxed and connected. Her hope is you will be excited to return to your mat again and again.

About Kate

Kate has been practicing Hatha yoga for 18 years and took the opportunity in 2020 to complete her online yoga 200hr YTT. She has also completed a 36 hour targeted YogaBody Flexibility course, and qualified as a YogaBody Breath work coach. More recently she trained with Carolyn Cowan Kundalini Global in London attending a week long intensive, learning how Kundalini Yoga can help those who have suffered with addiction and trauma.

 

Her fresh & modern approach cuts to the heart of yoga and she helps explain why yoga works so well in bringing balance back to mind and body. She will share a multitude of tools and tricks to help you understand you DO have the power to change the way you feel in any given moment!

 

Her understanding of the nervous system and hormonal flow highlights all the practical ways we can help ourselves, which have a profound impact on body & mind.

 

Her simple and effective approach provides a transformational mix of breath work, posture and intention to help inspire your practice and deepen your understanding of the wonders that lie within.
