Join Fiona for 8 week course plus 1 day of mindfulness

This Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week programme created in the USA by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn. Studies have shown that committed participation in an MBSR course can often lead to lasting positive effects on health and well-being. This course will introduce participants to different forms of mindfulness practice, including sitting meditation, body awareness and gentle mindful movement. We will learn to slow down and pay attention - so that we don’t miss the precious moments in our lives and can learn to deal more effectively with times that may be stressful.

To benefit and bring mindfulness into your life, daily home practice (40 minutes) is an important aspect of the course.

Dates: Tuesday 22nd February to Tuesday 12th April 2022
Time: 7.15pm to 9.15pm

This course includes:

  • 8 x 2-hour sessions discovering mindfulness meditations including the body scan, mindful movement, seated meditation practice and more
  • A full day retreat in a beautiful countryside location
  • Exercises to gain awareness about our own stress signature and how to discover more joy in our lives
  • 2 x guided meditation CDs
  • A 100-page booklet of supporting information and resources
  • Telephone or email support as required during the course
