Bollywood Dancing with Swara, Nrityangana Dance Academy

Nrityangana Dance Academy was established in 2020 by Swaralipi Bannerjee and we’re delighted that she is offering children’s classes here on the weekends at Maitri Studio.

Swaralipi is a passionate dancer and has been performing since she was six year old. She teaches classical Indian dance of Bharat Natyam – a fusion of emotion, melody, rhythm and dance – which is the main classical dance form in south India. It’s origin was in Tamil Nadu but is widely performed across the whole of India and beyond.

Children’s classes are on:

  • 11am-1pm Saturday from 6th April 2024
  • 10am-1pm Sunday from 7th April 2024
