Floatation

Floatation involves floating in 25cms of body temp water and half a tonne of Epsom salt. We spend 80% of our daily energy source fighting the effects of gravity, floatation creates a zero gravity environment, it can be experienced in cabins, pods, tanks or pools. Free from the weight of gravity the 80% of energy turns inwards, activating the blood flow and increasing circulation while stimulating both the lymphatic and digestive system. This in turn restricts the production of lactic acid and breaks down any already in the system, placing the body into detox mode. Simultaneously the whole peripheral nervous system glides into a state of stable balance placing the body into the deepest state of rest and relaxation. Your body rests and repairs 4 times faster in a float environment than it does in bed.

While in the floatation environment stimulation to your senses is restricted to allow your central nervous system to begin to slow down and your brain to drift from its usual alpha/beta brain waves into theta. In this state our brain releases the same endorphins as 5-7 hours sleep, endorphins are our body’s natural pain killer and mood enhancer. Our whole skeletal structure then has a chance to realign and decompress and we are afforded the experience of resetting. We are born with over 300 bones (1/3 cartilage and tissue) and at age 8-18 months our bones fuse and form, this is also the time we take to our feet so the skeletal structure NEVER gets a chance to decompress and realign as it is always stimulated by gravity and external pressure.

Hopi Ear Candling

This therapy is also known as Thermo-Auricular Therapy. It is named after a Native American tribe who are said to have first introduced this therapy to the West, although some representatives of the Hopi tribe dispute that this custom derived from them. Hopi Ear Candles are not normal candles, but a hollow tube made out of cotton flax. To stiffen the flax, they are impregnated with beeswax and herb oils. The treatment is reported to be gentle and relaxing and usually takes up to an hour. The tubular candle is placed over the ear and lit. As it burns it produces gentle heat, which, combined with the oil and herbs, soften the wax and draw it through the candle. Once the candle has burned to within 20cm (4 inches) of the bottom end, the candle is removed, and the ear and surrounding area is massaged. The treatment is then repeated on the other ear. Integrative Energy Therapy

Integrated Energy Therapy (IET) is considered to be a gentle, nurturing way to empower and balance a client's life by helping him/her release patterns of the past for good. Feelings and sensations are stored in the cells of the body much like facts are stored in the cells of the brain. Negative or traumatic experiences, stress, unexpressed emotion, fear, anger, resentment or self-limiting beliefs can become "stuck" (or suppressed) in the body and inhibit or disrupt the flow of vital life force at a cellular level. These energy blockages may limit our experience of life and can result in a lack of spontaneity, energy depletion, a feeling of unrest, agitation or disease. To heal this IET uses a unique Cellular Memory Map to target specific areas in the body where these "cellular memories" are stored, helping to release them on all levels - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. As these blocks are cleared, the suppressed charge of energy diminishes and the energy field is re-balanced leading to greater health and wellbeing.

Iridology

Iridology involves the examination of the iris in the eye. Each person's iris is completely unique and it is considered to carry the body's genetic blueprint. People can acquire inherited physical weaknesses that may have affected previous family members. It is believed that these may be detected through Iridology. By examining the eye, the Iridologist assesses a person's overall state of health and well-being. He/she is also able to assess which conditions a person may have the potential to develop if they neglect their health. Iris analysis may also be a useful means of assessing levels of toxicity in the body. During the consultation, the Iridologist uses a torch and magnifier to carry out the analysis. Iris analysis is a completely safe, hygienic and non-invasive process. This ancient approach is considered holistically effective because it gives an accurate picture of the person's genetic pattern. This pattern is something that will not change during that person's lifetime.

Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a method of identifying any imbalances a person has by monitoring their ability to hold their muscles against light pressure. Each muscle is related to an organ and also to an energy pathway called a meridian. Together the muscle, organ and meridian form a 'circuit'. If there are chemical, emotional, structural or energetic stresses affecting the circuit, the muscle tested will feel 'spongy', indicating an imbalance. Once an imbalance is found the kinesiologist uses a muscle test to get feedback about what factors are aggravating the imbalance and what will help to rebalance it. At that point the practitioner will be able to provide advice and support aimed at correcting the imbalance.

Lomi lomi massage

Lomi lomi is a Hawaiian massage, also known as the "loving hands" massage. Its name helps to explain its principles - the massage works gently yet deeply into the muscles with continuous, flowing strokes, allowing the recipient to relax and give in to the nurturing touch. Lomi lomi works from the belief that memories are not just stored in the brain and mind, but also in every cell of the human body. The long, continuous strokes of the massage aim to help the body let go of its old patterns and behaviours, which can be the cause of as many stresses and strains as muscle tension. "Lomi lomi" translates to "rub rub" in Hawaiian, and reflects the broad, flowing strokes made with the therapist's fingers, thumbs, palms, arms and elbows. Macadamia, palm and coconut oils are usually used as moisturisers in the massage to keep the strokes smooth and also to nourish the skin. Lomi lomi aims to treat the body and mind as one whole being. It is thought to release tension, assist blood and lymph flow, help to eliminate cellular waste, rejuvenate the body, and instil a sense of peace, harmony and well-being.

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic drainage is a holistic approach that aims to promote a healthy lymphatic system. The therapy consists of manual massage performed by a trained lymphatic drainage therapist. The therapist focuses on specific lymph nodes and points of the body with the intention of helping lymph move through the body. To this end special rhythmic strokes are used in the process which may be found to be relaxing. The lymphatic system has an important function in moving toxins away from healthy cells and carrying germ fighting materials to cells when these come under attack from viruses.

Magnet Therapy

Meditation has been practiced since antiquity by numerous religious traditions though as a practice without religious association it has also been found to have many benefits. Many research studies have been carried out on meditation and various methods of meditation have been linked to changes in metabolism, blood pressure, brain activation, stress reduction and pain reduction to name a few.

Mediumship

Mediumship is the faculty that allows an individual an exchange with the Spirit world and facilitates communication between the earthly plane and the Spirit plane. A medium is therefore defined as someone who is endowed with a mediumistic faculty and therefore is able to act as an intermediary. Numerous people suffering from grief have testified to the healing benefits of mediumship.

Metamorphic Technique

Metamorphic Technique is a practice that combines two elements: first, a gentle touch is applied to areas of the feet, hands and head that correspond to the spine, as identified in reflexology and in a further development called pre-natal therapy. A second element that is unique to the Metamorphic Technique is known as 'detachment'. It allows the practitioner to leave aside their personal beliefs and assumptions and to make no attempt to help or influence any process that may be going on for the client. This creates a relaxed environment of freedom from manipulation and it reflects a respect for the innate capacity of people to direct their own lives. Since the Technique is a practice, rather than a therapy or an energy/spiritual healing session, there is no need to take a case history or to offer advice or guidance. Practitioners of the Metamorphic Technique do, however, attend a course of study.

Mickel Therapy

Mickel therapy is a 'spoken' therapy developed by Dr David Mickel. It addresses non-musical goals and no musical ability is needed in order for the client to benefit from a music therapy treatment.

Neuro Linguistic Programming [NLP]

NLP is a change management tool developed by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970s. It aims to help transform the way people think and act so that they can lead better, fulfilling and richer lives. It is used in business management, psychology, sales, sport's coaching and personal development. Neuro Linguistic Programming explores the relationship between how we think [neuro], how we communicate [linguistic] and our patterns of behaviour and emotions [programming]. It can be taught to groups or used with individuals.

Neurolink

Neurolink uses the brain's ability to take control of the body to effect repairs to the system. Its philosophy is rooted in the principle that the brain governs optimum function of all the body's systems. Unless the brain is communicating appropriately with the body a client will not have complete wellness or recovery. When the body 'breaks down', either physically, emotionally, pathologically or chemically Neurolink suggests the tolerances have been exceeded and therefore the response of the body to this is either pain or illness. This means the brains ability to control the systems is being exceeded and it is unable to fully govern what is happening. A Neurolink practitioner will investigate the status of the body's function (glands, organs muscles, tendons, ligaments) as they work together. The practitioner then uses a series of sequential and prioritized steps to determine if there is congruency between the brain and other parts of the body, such as glands, organs, muscles, joints and fascia. If there isn't congruency, then there is confusion between the neurological circuits of the body which results in dysfunction and symptoms. Neurolink then identifies and resets the body systems with the brain. The brain's connection to the body is similar to an electrical circuit. In order to make everything work together, broken connections need to be reconnected. Neurolink works by directing the patient's brain to identify and correct the organization between its left and right sides, thereby creating balance and congruency in the body. Neurolink practitioners work with a range of conditions: physical/structural ,pathological, hormonal/chemical and emotional.

Numerology

Numerology is the use of numbers to interpret a person's character of divine the future. It is not a therapy as such. It is based on the Pythagoras' assertion that all things can be expressed in numerical terms. Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy uses nutrition to promote health and wellbeing and to prevent and manage a wide range of health concerns ranging from fatigue, weight management and stress through to diagnosed medical conditions. Nutritional therapists can help those want to take positive action in managing their health through making better dietary and lifestyle choices. Nutritional therapists use a wide range of tools to help them access their client. A detailed case history is taken and, if required, tests may be carried out to provide further information. The therapist is then able to provide a tailor made plan to facilitate greater health and wellness. This may include the prescription of supplements and the provision of eating plans and recipes.

Osteopathy

Although Osteopaths treat many conditions, most people think of them as 'Back specialists'. Back pain is what many osteopaths treat a lot of the time though they may also treat any part of the musculo- skeletal system. Osteopathic treatment does not target symptoms only but treats the parts of the body that have caused the symptoms. Osteopaths have a holistic approach and believe that a person's whole body will work well if it is in good structural balance. They use a wide range of techniques including massage, cranial techniques (sometimes referred to as 'cranial osteopathy') and joint mobilization and this breadth of approach allows them to focus on a patient's precise needs. Osteopaths assess and treat people of any age from the elderly to the newborn and from pregnant women to sports people. By law, osteopaths must register with the General Osteopathic Council (GOC). It is an offence for anyone to call themselves an osteopath if they are not registered. The most common conditions that osteopaths work with are: back and neck pain, shoulder and arm problems, pelvis, hip and leg problems and sports and other injuries. However, patients have found osteopathy helpful for many other conditions.

It is a method of analysis used to determine health on all levels. The testing process identifies disease, taints, disharmony and imbalance. The remedies used are made from natural plant extracts aimed at stabilising and restoring health on all levels. Our emotions play a big part in our physical health. If we have unresolved stress or emotional issues these can become trapped and cause long term health problems. During the consultation, the flower remedies are matched specifically to each individual. They may allow the release of emotional blocks and so enable the body to balance on all levels, then allowing the release of retained toxins which are the cause of many physical problems. Essentially the Flower Formulas are collections of essences, made from living flowers and plants from all over the world which, when combined, resonate on a particular frequency. They are not accidental mixtures of flowers and over the course of years of research they have been refined to a point where each formula has been targeted to regulate specific cellular systems in a very accurate manner. They are natural, free from chemicals, non-addictive, safe for babies and the elderly and everyone else in between. They may release energy blocks, aid the body to get rid of toxins and poisons of modern-day living and help in assimilating nutrients.

This frees up energy, bringing greater aliveness and joy and allowing the client to move towards fulfillment of our potential as human beings. Issues are explored with a re-birther and the re-birther and the client works with the material that surfaces. In total, a rebirthing session may take approximately 2 to 3 hours. Rebirthing works on the principle that there is a direct connection between mental and physical well being and the openness of the breathing. It is therefore believed that relaxing and releasing the breath dissolves tensions in both the body and the mind.
