Family kirtan - Mantra chanting to calm the mind & open the heart

Join us for a family friendly fun-filled afternoon singing loving healing mantras from the heart. Adapted for kids age 3-10 to join in and get all the benefits of Kirtan in a relaxed atmosphere with other children.

Singing & repeating mantras to music in a group helps us quieten the mind, open the heart, and feel a sense of loving community and connection. Receiving the many benefits of meditation without having to sit still or be quiet!

In this family kirtan session, we'll share simple mantras that are easy for children to connect to and sing, alongside stories, fun actions, dancing and more, and everyone is invited to take part as much or as little as they like.

We'll keep the group small, and there's an expectation that you'll keep your children with you in your space. If anyone is feeling they need a little time out, there's communal space just outside the studio.

Julie & Victor have been sharing Kirtan since 2011 and Julie taught kids yoga for more than 10 years - they're really excited to bring this much requested event, and can't wait to share the magic of kirtan with you and your family.
