Do you have a lapsed mindfulness practice? Have you tried mindfulness and given up because of the length of the practices or the racing thoughts in your mind? Maybe you are interested in starting a mindfulness practice and struggle to do this on your own? Do you start a meditation with great intentions and then give up because you get bored? In recent years the word ‘mindful’ has been tagged on to so many other programmes and activities that it has lost its true meaning. This course will help you to make sense of mindfulness as a practice and to find ways of integrating mindfulness into everyday life

Over the course of 5 weeks, we will adopt a ‘beginner’s mind’ and have an honest look at mindfulness and how to make it a relevant, realistic and helpful practice.

I will debunk some of the many misunderstandings and myths that have grown up around mindfulness in recent years and together we will explore and inquire into various practices and activities and find ways to adapt them to suit specific needs.

  • Expanding our capacity for happiness through meditation and journaling
  • Transforming strong emotions through on the spot practices and meditation

Each week I will send you a recording to use at home as suggested home practice (up to 20mins) You will also receive a short manual with summaries of each session and some tips for practice.
