We're delighted to have Gabriella from The YogaTree bring monthly Ashtanga Yoga to Maitri Studio on Saturday mornings.

Join Gabriella for a monthly Ashtanga Led Primary class and immerse yourself in the powerful energy of a group practice, breathing and moving together in unison. Under Gabriella’s expert guidance, you’ll flow through most of the primary series postures with traditional Sanskrit breath counts and posture names.

This dynamic class challenges both body and mind, culminating in deep, blissful relaxation—a perfect way to start your weekend on a high note.

Please note, this class is not suitable for complete beginners. Contact Gabriella to discover which of her other classes might be the best fit for an introduction to Ashtanga yoga.

"A dynamic guided class that will explore many of the main poses and elements from the Ashtanga series without necessarily following the traditional sequence. We will always begin with several rounds of sun salutations before moving on to selected standing & seated poses. Each week we will focus on different aspects of the Ashtanga practice. This class is suitable for regular students to enjoy, as well as for beginners who wish to get a sense of what Ashtanga is like before continuing with the regular Mysore and Led Ashtanga classes."
