My wife, Dorothy and I started Kokoro Naturopathy twelve years ago after qualifying as Naturopathic Consultants and we have been on a continuous learning curve, expanding our knowledge & skills into areas with proven success in Natural Healing.

We knew we could provide real help to people who were not improving under standard treatment regimes, or were dissatisfied with their experiences with allopathic medicine.

Kokoro Naturopathy's Natural Healing Goal

We aim to provide an alternative range of diagnostic & therapeutic techniques which are complementary with allopathic medicine and have a proven track record of success. We have had a great deal of success with a wide variety of conditions, from ideopathic pain, aches and tiredness to sports injuries, headaches, acute and chronic stress, digestive problems. Mostly, these have been problems which have been unresolved for years, with only symptoms being addressed, not the core problems.

True Reiki Practice & Training

David has followed a Path in Reiki and energy healing, shedding the weaker western Reiki commonly taught & researching how it was originally taught by Usui Mikao sama. His Way with Reiki does not use symbols, since they were not originally used, and is much more shamanically based. It is steeped in intense spirituality in connection with the Source & the Unity of all things, heavily influenced by quantum mechanics & the true nature of the Universe & the power of focused intent to influence it.

Kokoro School of Reiki teaches this method, producing extremely powerful practitioners who are drawn to him for training. It has changed lives. In terms of practice, it is closer to Usui sama's original practice than Jikiden.

Bowen Technique & Emmett Technique

David's other main specialisms are Bowen Technique & Emmett Technique. These techniques are both aimed at the relief of pain in the body by addressing structure & function problems, by restoring tensional integrity thoughout the body.

Iridology

David is also an Iridologist, taught by Dr. Maher Succar. Iridology is a very useful health assessment tool which examines the characteristics of the iris of the eye. The fibres of the iris have neural reflexive links to all tissues & organs of the body.

Homoeopathic Mesotherapy

David & Dorothy have both recently qualified in Homoeopathic Mesotherapy. This involves the injection of homoeopathic remedies for rapid results in pain relief, tissue regeneration & returning proper homeostasis to body systems.

It is also very effective in cosmetic applications such as: anti-aging & wrinkles, face revitilisation, scars & stretch marks, localised Adiposity (stubborn fatty deposits), Cellulite removal, re-elastication of slackened skin, breast toning & lifting, Venous insufficiency & swollen legs.

Reflexology for Adults & Babies

Dorothy is passionate about Reflexology, especially Fertility Reflexology & Maternity Reflexology. She has had considerable success in assisting couples to conceive, supporting through pregnancy to birth.

Dorothy also provides reflexology support for cancer patients, having trained with Carol Donnelly.

Baby Reflex is specially adapted reflexology for babies, developed for bonding but helps to relieve & eliminate many baby discomforts. These include reflux, colic, wind, constipation, immune system boosting, sleep improvement, asthma reduction. It can be used from 4 weeks onwards & Dorothy will teach parents to use it in their own homes.

Fertility

Dorothy has developed a Preconception Preparation Programme which initally lasts twelve weeks but can continue for as long as is required. It includes nutrition, relaxation, behviour advice & weekly reflexology sessions for both partners where possible, as advocated by Dr Edgar Mocanu, consultant at the Hari Unit in Dublin.

Practitioner Training

Reiki - Within the Kokoro School of Reiki we teach our method, producing extremely powerful practitioners who are drawn to him for training. It has changed lives. In terms of practice, it is closer to Usui sama's original practice than Jikiden.

Reflexology - Dorothy has developed her own Fertility Reflexology Course aimed at existing reflexologists wanting to branch into this field. This is the first such course to receive CThA approval in the UK including Northern Ireland. This allows reflexologists to gain this advanced qualification locally.
